Best Graphics Cards In India From NVIDIA and AMD
We will review the stock GPUs from both NVIDIA and AMD , you can then buy from any vendor like MSI , ASUS etc . So, without wasting more time, let’s get to the good part..
1. RTX 3090
RTX 3090 is the king of gaming GPU’s right now and it is the most expensive gaming GPU ever. Most people would be more than impressed with the already great RTX 3080 but for those people who want that extra in everything this is the one.
Yeah everything is extra in this GPU and it is the largest GPU among the bunch. Just take a look at the specs.

- GA-102 based architecture.
- Comes with whopping 24GB VRAM.
- 10496 CUDA cores.
- Contains 82 RT cores and 328 tensor cores.
- Over 1700Mhz boost clock and rated TDP of 350W.
So, this is big with big specs which requires huge amount of power. Make sure you have a powerful enough PSU to handle this GPU.
Not to mention the size of the GPU is also very large and
The sheer amount of CUDA cores in this thing would handle any task you would throw at it and the huge capacity of VRAM should handle any game even with the highest resolution and graphic setting.
Should you buy this? If you are looking to play all your games at 4K and above resolutions then go for it. For all other intends and purposes you would be good enough with lower priced offerings as the RTX 3090 costs huge amount of money.

3. RX 6800XT
AMD has recently been pushing hard on gaming. First on their Ryzen CPU’s and now they are trying the same with the AMD Radeon GPU’s. Radeon RX 6800XT is the offering from team red that competes head on with the RTX 3080.
Here are the specs just for a spot of context as they cannot be directly compared with the specs that Nvidia offers.

- Up to 2250Mhz boost clock and rated TDP of 300w.
- 4608 stream processors.
- 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.

Ok, so the specs are definitely impressive and it also comes with much higher video memory when compared to just 10GB VRAM in the RTX 3080 but that’s not the whole story.
The performance is usually better on the RX6800XT only in the games that use traditional rendering when it comes to ray tracing in games the RTX 3080 provides much better performance.
Nvidia GPU’s also come with DLSS which comes in handy for better frame rates without much loss in visual quality which AMD currently has no alternative for. AMD GPU’s can operate in rage mode when paired with newer generation Ryzen CPU’s to provide better frame rates.
Go for the RX6800XT if you need high amounts of video memory or do not care about ray tracing performance but want great performance in traditionally rendered games. Also, it is a better option as it is cheaper at least on paper. But overall RTX 3080 is a marginally better option for most of the people.
4. RTX 3070
If you have ever been into the PC gaming there is a good chance that you might have heard about the RTX 3070 just because of the performance it promised to offered for the price.
RTX 3070 was promised to provide better performance than the RTX 2080ti at less than half the price. It was a bold claim but the RTX 3070 sort of delivered better performance than the 2080ti but not in every situation but this might change with driver updates in future.
Here are some key specs:

- GA-104 based architecture.
- Contains 46 RT cores and 184 tensor cores.
- 5888 CUDA cores
- Boost clock over 1700Mhz and rated TDP of 220W
You might think that it has quite low VRAM but it should suffice for current and next gen games but it might be a problem at higher resolutions and longevity is certainly a question. Despite that gaming performance is usually awesome.
The RTX 3070 is a great choice for gamers looking for higher resolution 1440P and decent 4K gaming alike.
5. RX 6800
RX 6800 is an awkward middle child that doesn’t quite perform better than the competing offerings while being more expensive and also doesn’t make sense as the price difference between RX 6800 and the RX 6800XT.
The specs are as follows
- 60 compute units and 60 ray accelerators.
- Up to 2105Mhz boost clock and rated TDP of 250w.
- 3840 stream processors.
- 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.
- 256-bit memory interface.
The performance is very good in fact better than the RTX 2080ti in majority of the use cases. But it starts to make less sense if you can find almost similar performance and better ray traced performance in the RTX 3070 for a cheaper price (at least on paper). But the arguments can be made that RX6800 comes with double the VRAM of RTX 3070.
And also spending some more money will buy you a much better GPU than RX6800 does. This puts it in a really tough position.
Not to be mistaken the RX6800 is a great GPU but the weird positioning and its expensive pricing compared to its rivals are its biggest shortcomings.
6. RTX 3060ti
RTX 3060ti is the midrange offering from Nvidia that is slotted to fit in between the lower priced GTX offerings such as the 1660ti and the higher end RTX 3070.
RTX 3060ti offers great performance for the price it comes at. This midrange GPU offers consistently higher performance the RTX 2080 super that costed almost twice the price of RTX 3060ti at launch.

It has all the best features. Thus, you can expect it to be a high-priced GPU. And, in reality, this is the most expensive GPU in the world right now. This GPU uses the TU102 chip from NVIDIA. It has a memory clock speed of 14000 MHz, memory bus width 352.00 bits.

10. Nvidia RTX 2070 Super
On our list, the number rank was earned by the NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super. Yes, still, it is NVIDIA, not AMD yet. This GPU was released a while ago. Yet, for the cost to performance ratio, this could be a top pick at this point. Interestingly, even though this is a 2070, it uses the same TU104 chipset like any 2080s.
