The Archer C6 from TP Link is a good balance of the price and features if you’re looking for a good budget friendly wifi router.
It’s design is attractive with a diamond cut pattern on top surrounded by 4 external antennas and one internal antenna which gives it a decent enough range.
It promises to provide gigabit speeds with simultaneous AC1200 dual band connection of 5Ghz and 2.4ghz which should theoretically give 1200mbps bandwidth and also has 4 LAN and 1 WAN port at the back all support gigabit speeds. You can achieve file transfer speeds of somewhere around 600mbps but not as fast as advertised. It has a Qualcomm chip inside to boost its performance.

It comes with a suite of features like MU MIMO and Beamforming so you can have 2 devices connected and they will get proper bandwidth for improved latency and response time. But you will have to turn them on through the app manually. It also has an access point mode so you can use it to extend your current range or use the mesh functionality with other TP Link routers for better overall coverage.
The setup is easy with the TP Link tether app and you can easily manage your connection and other TP Link router through the app. Overall it’s a great deal if you want to enjoy gigabit speeds and have a nice wifi coverage around the house.
